EMDR | Gottman Level 2 Therapist

Couples, Marriage & Family Therapy in Parker, CO

I provide trauma therapy, EMDR therapy, couples counseling, grief counseling, and anxiety treatment in Parker, Colorado and throughout Douglas County and the greater Colorado area. I specialize in helping clients navigate the complexities of unresolved trauma, relationship distress, and the emotional exhaustion that comes with major life transitions. Using a trauma-informed and integrative approach, I help individuals and couples move beyond “stuck” patterns to find genuine healing and nervous system regulation.

As a trained EMDR therapist, I provide Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to help clients reprocess traumatic memories, reduce emotional reactivity, and experience relief from symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, and distressing life events. EMDR allows the brain to heal in a way that talk therapy alone often cannot, helping you move beyond survival mode toward genuine healing.

I am also trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 2), using research-based interventions to help couples improve communication, rebuild trust after hurt, and restore emotional connection. Whether you are navigating ongoing conflict, emotional disconnection, or betrayal, I provide structured, practical tools that create meaningful shifts both inside and outside of session.

My clinical approach integrates somatic therapy, mindfulness, and attachment-focused work to support the mind–body connection. With a background in yoga and meditation, I incorporate trauma-sensitive practices to help clients who feel overwhelmed, emotionally reactive, or disconnected from their bodies. I believe healing happens when clients feel safe, understood, and supported at a sustainable pace.

Specialized Clinical Areas:

  • Trauma & PTSD: Resolving the “invisible wounds” of the past.
  • Relationship Distress: Navigating marriage, family, and attachment patterns.
  • Grief & Loss: Supporting you through the complexities of complicated grief.
  • Anxiety & Chronic Stress: Finding calm through nervous system regulation.

Whether you are seeking trauma therapy, grief counseling, EMDR, or couples therapy using the Gottman Method, I strive to meet you with compassion, clinical skill, and respect. My goal is to help you feel more connected—to yourself, to others, and to the life you want to build.
