Meet Lisa Stull
Most people who reach out to me aren’t looking for someone to simply listen while they talk. They’re looking for someone who can help them understand why they feel stuck, identify the patterns keeping them there, and create real, lasting change.
For more than 30 years, I’ve sat across from people carrying exactly what you might be carrying right now. Anxiety that won’t quiet down. Trauma that keeps resurfacing at the worst moments. Relationship struggles that leave you feeling disconnected. Or patterns you can’t seem to break no matter how hard you try.
I’ve done this a long time, and I’ll tell you what I’ve learned. Meaningful change begins with clarity. When you understand what’s really happening, why it’s happening, and what’s keeping you stuck, you can finally begin moving forward. That’s how I work. I’m direct, honest, and engaged, with a little humor when the moment allows because sometimes that’s exactly what’s needed to get somewhere real.
As a Certified Gottman Therapist, I help partners break out of the same fight on repeat, rebuild trust after it’s been broken, and reconnect when things have gone quiet. Whether you’re navigating a betrayal, drifting apart, or simply want a good relationship to become a great one, specialized training makes all the difference. Many couples tell me they’ve tried therapy before but left sessions feeling frustrated, misunderstood, or even more disconnected than when they arrived. Therapy shouldn’t leave you feeling that way. I want you to leave each session with greater clarity, a deeper understanding of one another, and confidence that you’re moving in the right direction.
I’m also an EMDR Certified Therapist and have worked with combat veterans, survivors of sexual abuse, and individuals whose past experiences continue to shape their present lives. This work takes real skill. Good intentions aren’t enough. The approaches I use are grounded in decades of research and designed specifically to help people heal from trauma, not just learn to live around it.
My goal is simple. I want to help you move from feeling stuck and overwhelmed to feeling clear, confident, and capable of creating the life and relationships you want. Therapy should do more than provide insight. It should help you create meaningful, lasting change that continues long after you leave my office.
As the Founder and Clinical Director of Comprehensive Counseling Solutions, I also supervise a team of talented clinicians with a wide range of specialties. If I’m not the right fit for your needs, I’ll help connect you with someone who is.
If you’re ready to stop feeling stuck and start creating meaningful change, I’d love the opportunity to help.

Meet Koda, our hypo-allergenic, shed-free, Bernedoodle who is a Certified Therapy Dog. The human-canine bond is unique in that it delivers so many emotional, physical, and mental benefits. Dogs are one of the most common pets in many households and for good reason. They love unconditionally, make us laugh, and help us to feel happy when we’re down. What you may not know is that they can also help with counseling. The use of pet therapy dogs during a counseling session can be an amazing experience for both adults and children alike, it has been proven to reduce stress levels while boosting moods! Even a few minutes in the company of therapy dogs can:
Pet therapy dogs offer a distraction from current issues by providing moments of happiness and joy that help clients to see the easier side of life, resulting in an increased sense of hope for better days ahead .
Relieve stress, anxiety, and depression .
Make you feel calmer and happier.
Therapy dogs can help their clients to reduce stress levels during sessions, allowing them to maintain a healthy mood whilst talking about potentially upsetting emotions.
Help clients to understand boundaries. As dogs are good at self-soothing, they are able to take themselves away from a situation where they are uncomfortable.
Help you to develop relationships, starting with the new relationship with the therapy dog. The companionship and friendship of the pet therapy dog during difficult times can help develop trust.
